This magnificent Renaissance villa in Cortona is the perfect location to organize an unforgettable wedding reception or special event. The large garden of the villa is defined by imposing cypresses and maritime pines in the middle of the hills of the Tuscan landscape characterized by vineyards, olive groves and orchards that change color according to the seasons. If the bride and groom choose to officiate the wedding in the church located just outside the gate of the villa, they will enter through the delightful romantic tree-lined avenue that leads to the majestic garden in front of the villa.
In the villa, the meal can be served at any time of the year in the elegant halls of the “limonaia” or “stalla”, and in spring and summer in the large park with rare old trees. The large “limonaia” with trompe l’oeil frescoes from the 1800s is divided into two vaulted aisles and can accommodate up to 230 guests to sit for wedding lunches or dinners.
The “stable” is an elegant room with curtains and delicate frescoes and is equipped with a hi-fi system for after-dinner musical entertainment. There are also lounge areas with comfortable sofas for relaxing moments. Appetizers, desserts, coffee and soft drinks will be served until late at night on the porch that opens onto the garden and which can be closed in case of bad weather.
